If you have a single doubt about whether you want to be a parent, don’t have kids.
If you’re not prepared to parent a child with literally any disability, don’t have kids.
If you don’t think you should vaccinate your children, don’t have kids.
If you want a child because you think having a child is a way to receive unconditional love, you’re wrong, and don’t have kids.
If your reason for having children is the fact that your partner wants them, don’t have kids.
If you want to watch your kids succeed where you failed in life, don’t have kids.
If you require sleep to function, don’t have kids.
If you can’t afford to support them, don’t have kids.
If you’re not prepared to raise them entirely on your own if your partner dies or leaves, don’t have kids.
If you’re not willing to spend every moment until you depart this world as a parent who is present and available to their child, don’t have kids.
A ridiculous percentage of people are terrible parents.
Unless you are 98% sure you won’t join them, don’t have kids.
